Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default NH day two

I been hunting this farm for three years never to kill on yet. Got out of bed at nine thirty instead of 400 forgot to set the alarm, decided to go anyways set up and twenty minutes later I see four redheads coming up the hill about 300 yrds out. Now these birds usaully gobble constantle but not today only maybee 5 times. I thought I was gonna pass out my heart was beating so fast. I hope that is normal? so i shoot the bird that a thought was the biggest one he was in full strut. droped him at 15 yrds. 20lbs even 10 3/4 beard and 1 inch spurs. I must say this was the coolest five minutes of my life. Now i am sad as I cant go out anymore this year.
