Is there some special pattern of hoots that I should blow on a Owl call to locate a gobbler? I have had a owl call for a few seasons now and never used it and would like to give it a try over the weekend.
If it is a barred owl call then follow this sequences:
who cooks for you, who cooks for you
just follow the sylibulls (spelling?) and you'll hear it come out right, it helps if you hear a real owl do it.
Around here (Northeast Ohio) the owls go crazy every night and we dont have to worry about locator calls. Also ~ my neigbor has peacocks so they get the gobblers riled up every morning.
