HEVI-13 (GOLD VS GREEN)

What is the difference between the gold and the green shells. I have shot the 3 1/2" #6's with the gold casing. What is different about the 3 1/2" #6's with the green casing?

what do the hulls say??? my 3inch ones are green and clearly stamped 1 5/8 ounce 3" could be different colors for differnt weights...

their 3 1/2" shells are 1 3/4oz and new for this year is 2 1/4 for 3 1/2" shells....could be you bought new ones and the new, heavier loading comes in a different hull...

check and see what they are marked as...their marking seems to be good...mine rode in the vest all season and i just looked and they are still clearly marked..

Everything is the same exeptthe boxes. The gold said 1090fps and the green said max dram eq.What does this mean?

i believe all hevi 13 is 1090fps. the max dram eq. i believe (dont quote me) means the load is loaded to the max in terms of powder...but i could be wrong. thats how i always understood it. the lower the dram # always seemed less powerful. heavier loads are generally loaded Max.

the shells or boxes dont say anything about weight (ounces of shot) ?? just curious...i know my hulls say 1 5/8ounce.

they could just simply changed hull color...contact the manufacturer and see what they have to say...cant hurt

Both are 1 3/4 ounce 3 1/2" #6's. I guess i'll have just shoot them and see for myself if there is any difference. Thanks for the input.

no problem...

they should be the same then....just a different hull color. good luck with them....sounds like everything is the same though...shouldnt see any difference..
