Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

I have a couple good spots, but I don't know whether the land owner would let you hunt. Also my friend has a REALLY good spot, but same situation.

There are alot of good hunting spot here in North Central Kansas, you just have to make friends with the land owners or find some public land.

Are you from out of state and looking for a good spot, or are you from here is KS???

The season has been very tuff this year so I can't tell anyone to spend the $$ to come down and chase birds this year.

I would probably check out the Byron Walker WMA west of Kingman or the Pratt Sand Hills WMA. These areas are not that far from Greensburg and am not sure especially around Pratt what you would find as far as places to stay.

This would be considered more south central Kansas.

I hunt in the Smith Center/Osborne area. It is REALLY tough to get a bird up here right now. The birds are not responding to calls at all.

Look at the center of the state, and then go north, almost to the State Line.
