A few weeks ago I posted some targets that weren't very good, this time I am happy to say I have found the best combo for my Rem. 870 Express Mag. I didn't get a chance to post this before my Texas hunt but wanted to get it done before my Colorado hunt. I hope this helps some still looking for a better combo for the 870.
[/align]The 1st. one is Rem. Premier Hevi shot # 5 1 5/8 oz. with H.S. Undertaker choke at 40yrds = 27 hits

[/align]The 2nd. is Hevi shot 13 # 61 3/4 oz.with H.S. Undertaker choke at 40 yrds = 42 hits
[/align]The last was Nitro 4x5x7 1 7/8 oz. with Rhino 2 inch extended choke at 40 yrds = 64 hits 48 in head and neck.

21 inch barrel?? i got the express mag with the 21 inch barrel and shoot a undertaker hevi shot tube as well..ive seen the same results..will kill a turkey with every shell ive tried. the old remington hevi shot high velocity 6s patterned the best. i put nearly 200pellets on a sheet of computer paper at 35 or 40yds. i think my loads are 1 1/2oz loads..and think theres something like 356 pellets in the shell so thats pretty dang good IMO. i got 4 left..got 5 hevi 13 #5s to test for next year..and hevi 13 now makes a 2oz load...thats something like 476 #6 pellets in 1 shell....that swarm should be devistating to say the least....

26 in barrel. Got my Tom! talked to him for 45 min before he came in, best hunt I have had to date, with bobcat stalking turkeys 100 ft. from me, hens 5 ft. from me and a Tom strutting and drumming 15 ft. from me. Even if I had not taken a Gobbler best hunt ever!Cant wait tell fall!
