I got my first bird of the year last weekend in Canadian County, Oklahoma. It is a Rio with a 9 3/4" beard, 1" spurs, and weighed 20 1/2 lbs. My biggest with a bow to date. We had birds all over us last Sat., but couldn't get them to come into the decoy. They were all henned up and weren't interested. We had to wait on the birds to work their way by, in order to get a shot. I missed one at 35 yards and another at 45 yards before I finally connected on one at 25 yards. It was a humbling experience on the first two birds. Here is the link to the video my cousin filmed and put together.
