Default Oklahoma Public land turkeys....help

Hello everyone
Ive been hunting Lexington WMAhard for turkey the past few weeks with absolutely no luck. Before the season started the birds were everywhere, now the only birds I have seen are just outside the property. Im looking for some other public land to hunt here in Oklahoma, but I have only been to a few. (Altus-Lugert, Canton) Has anyone had any luck at any of the other public spots here in Oklahoma?? Thanks for any info

Black Kettle doesn't get any better. Areas 2 and 10 have treated me very good in past years. I haven't been there in 3 or 4 years though. Always lot of bird out there though!

Ahh that is fine. I just wanted to see if he took my advice on areas 10 and 2. Kettle is spread apart and birds are everywhere.

If he has a secret to keep, I sure there are 1,000 other guys that have his same secret spot out there.

Glad you enjoyed it. It is well worth the trip.

hey sorry I just checked this post again, Im sorry it was taken that I was trying to hide my secret spot out there. Thats not the case at all. There are a ton of locations out there and I dont for the life of me remember which ones we hunted. We spent most of the day driving around to different hunting areas looking for birds and trying to get a feel for the land. We had never been there before and we wanted to explore as much of it as possible.

We did drive by area 10 I believe, I think turkey creek runs through it, but some one was parked at the area so we went on to another location. I just looked at the map again, butI have no idea which hunting area it was. Luckily I had a navigator giving me directions while I drove and looked for turkeys. If I do find a honey hole out there I will definately share the info

Sorry about the misconfusion
