First one for 2007
Ok heres the first for 2007. I went to Missouri for there opener and connected on a nice Carroll county gobbler. I was hunting with Don Cox at Grand River outfitters in Hale Missouri. Had a blast. The gobblers were very vocal the first 2 days of the season. They were henned up pretty bad. I managed to give some nice tree yelps to let them know I was in the area looking for some action. It didnt take long once he hit the ground. I gave him some yelps and some clucks and purrs. I shot him at 28 yards. He weighed 22lbs, 10.5in beard and 1in spurs. Total score is 63.
