Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default test results question

I grabbed my rem 870 today and headed to the target range with a couple different shells. I took a couple pieces of printer paper (8.5x11) and a big piece of cardboard to make sure it was shooting in the middle. I set up at 40 yards and my first shot was a remington hevi-shot # 6 and on the piece of computer paper it hit 88 times. The second shot was the hevi 13 #6 shot and it scored 71 times. My question is, is this adequate enough to kill a turkey at 40 yrds and less? thanks

sounds like it should get the job done. draw a turkey head and neck on the paper and see what it would look like.

Sounds like you're good. Maybe try just counting how many you get within an 8-10" circle. But yeah, sounds like you're golden.

Trace out your closed fist sideways and forearm on the paper it will give you a pretty acurate turkey head & neck,It should give you a better idea about how many BB's you will have in the kill zone.
