Default 'hammerin' crow call

anyone use these type? i have one and my question is, when blowing the call, am i suppose to put all my effort and breathe into it, or just blow normally. it sounds very loud when i breath heavily, but that might be the point. or does it just depend on the situation? some loud works and some soft work? thanks

Default RE: 'hammerin' crow call

your right both.if you know where about the bird is and if hes close to you then soft blows will work.but if your on a road or power line then blow harder it will travel farther and get more birds to answer.i love to hear them gobble to the shock call it drives them nuts.they will answer early and late mostly though.
