Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default another roost Q....

After 3 years of turkeys using the same area to roost, last year they started using a different location about 200 yards away. I've been watching them all year and they still use this new location. Its not a big deal really, I'll just set up near them, but I wonder what might have made them abandon the old roosting site. I can't figure what might have changed. No real change in the habitat, no rise in yote population, and crops are the same every year. Any guesses?

Default RE: another roost Q....

They could have found a better food source. Its hard to say what they are thinking. Heck it might be more comfortable trees or maybe better cover for them while they roost.
