Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Turkey Hunting Question w/ pic...

Well, turkey season is only a couple weeks away for me and I have a question for yall. Attached is a picture of the farm I'm hunting (the red lines going to the "x" represent the road I take path I drive down to get to where the campsite is. The orange circle is the area where I will be doing a majority of my hunting). My question is, if I am camping at the red "x" do you guys think that the noise created fromcamping at that locationwill mess up the turkeys causing them to become extra skiddish and potentially leaviing the area. It's not like were gonna be blaring music or anything, but I have not gone turkey hunting before and want to make sure that I'm not sending them off to someone elses property. I could camp further away if necessary, but would prefer not to. I appreciate the help as always...

i dont think it would be a problem...where i work , we're constantly out in the fields with tractors and vehicles and they dont spook....as long as y'all arent raising cane and driving around at all hours of the night.Good Luck

Heck no - we stay at a small cabin and see Toms and Hens in the field all the time - even had a screen door crash which made a Tom below the ridge Gobble profusley for about an hour........
