2007 turkey season -learning adventure

i have a friend gonna show me how to hunt turkeys so i can hunt next year.but what do you do to prepare yourself to learn such an honored sport?????? mentally i wonder how you guys do it...i have wait til next year so what do i need to do til my buddy helps me out?????

talk with him and set up a game plan so you know what to expect

I set up in my house and call from my blind. some people may think Im crazy but I call it dedicated... I recall someone else on this forum doing that too. Glad Im not the only one. Mentally this hunting can really mess you up, the biggest thing to remember when something doesnt work out (which WILL happen) is that there will be another time... Good luck when you get to go out!
