Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Does using a flashlight booger turkeys? I'm going to hunt some public land tomorrow morning, and I'm not familiar enough with it to walk it in the dark. Also, I don't think the moon will be any help.

Do you have some roosted? Know where they are? Why bother stumbling around in the dark? If you are just trying to get into an area, why not just wait till it starts to get light and see if any sound off early and htem pick your way to set up while you can see.

Play it safe and use a flashlight. You never know what might happen if you cant see. You might step in a hole and get hurt, or get lost and not make it close to where you want to be. I always use a flashlight...

Public land ............. use a flashlight. As mentioned above, you never know where they might be a hidden root, hole or even an UNKNOWN HUNTER that got in there before you. With the light he can see you and and even let you know where he is located.

When in doubt, always play it on the SAFE SIDE .......... no injury is worth the harvesting or possible harvesting of an animal.
