Default 1st ever turkey this morning... Picture

Hey everyone I killed my 1st turkey ever this morning.. And I will tell you the story cuz I'm excited.. Well I started out in a field I thought that they would come to and I couldn't get them to talk at all so I decided to move and when Idrove around the opposite side of the section I saw several turkey crossing the roadcoming onto our side.. So I turned around and went upwindfrom them about 150 yards and set upagainst a tree beside the creekand gave a couple yelps to let them know I was there and before I got done I heard a gobble, then a double gobble, and then i put down the call and got the gun ready because I could see him and another running in.. Then they stopped about 50 yards out and both started struttin sp by then my heart was pumping and they wouldn't come closer, I then snuck my hand down and gave them a couple clucks and they come in to 20 yards then bam.. its all over from there.. The beard isn't that long but I don't care because its my 1st ever.. About 5inches and .5in spurs..

Here is a link to a picture because the file is to large to put on this site..

Did you mean 5mm. spurs because if they are five inches long than its probably one for the record books.-lol Congradulations, especially for calling it in on your own, not to many people can say that.
-I just read it again and realized it said .5in. Its weird to me that some places go by inches and around here we go my millimeters.
