Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Cold Front?

Well Saturday morning is the first morning I can hunt ( youth weekend). And I just checked the forecast and they are calling for 25 degrees. It has been getting up in the 80's and they have been gobbling like crazy...but will the tempature drop change anything in their movment or habbits through out the day? Well thanks for any reply.

Cold front hit here last night was out this morning scouting again. Younger jakes were loud, hens a little chatter, Seen three of the toms but no vocals from them so hopefully this will break before our opening day.

its been my expirience that true could fronts shut down gobbling activity. not ALWAYS the case....but generally the case. turkeys live in the woods and deal with weather every day and go about their lives....you cant kill em from the couch...id still be out there just to be out there...never know what might happen...and if you did your homework you should know where they roost and where they head off of the roost...set up and wait for them in between!! good luck!

No problem. They will be there doing what mating turkeys do. It will be fine...
