If any of you remember, on my first bird I harvested, on the 26th, I lost my favorite call. Well today I decided to go back one last time and look for it. Would you believe, I walked straight to it, didn't find the striker, but got my buddy back. Last week I ordered one from Cabelas', overnight, which cost me, and had a buddy loan me his, which I got my second bird with. Anyway, superstitious or not, got my most favorite call back today.

Good deal man! Hey I used the closer you sent me. Tried it Saturday AM, opening day. Birds were henned up and would not respond to anything until I tried the call you made. That got them gobbling! They still wouldn't move from the hens but at least I got them talking. I didn't take it out Sunday AM. The birds were very vocal and came in on a string to my box call. I had the closer ready but never needed it. I killed my bird with the box and a few clucks and purrs from a diaphram. I really like what I've seen with this call so far. I have 3 more tags to fill. I'll keep you informed about how it works. Thanks again! Greg
i left my call in the woods last eyar after i got my swamp bird, went back and looked, nothing, did it a couple of times, finally found it, i know how happy you are.....what a relief......

I lost a scratch box that I have had for over 30 years.was with a fellow worker on private land, that I didn't have a key to. he went back and looked, then gave me a key and I didn't find it.he went back a week later and there it lay;(right where 3 trucks were parked). I had changed cloths to got to work.all the trucks had drove over it several times and never touched it.
I still use it today.Barbara and I have taken 3 birds with it this year.
