Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Po' boy shotgun patterning w/ 2 3/4&mod. choke

well I just traded off my Super Mag turkey for a excellent deal on a Marlin 336SS and although at an unfortunate time I still done it. Now my options where my imp. cyl. 18" barrel tactical 870 or my super smooth older than the hills Wingmaster who's been around the block more times than it should. Well it has a 26" non vent ribbed with modified fixed choke. So I loaded her up, worn off bluing, cracked buttstock and all. Finally tracked down some 2 3/4" Federal Flite Controls since thats what has always done me right in any of my guns. And here is a target result at 35 yards with #5 shot. So I'm confident enough to about 30 yards. I think after season when I have some money to blow I'm gonna maybe check into that new 870 with the Coppstock(sp?) in realtree ap.

Folks have been killing turkeys with that same setup for decades. It is a little tough to count but I think I see 8 pellets in the head/neck area? It also looks like you shot a hair right. In short - looks good.
