Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Turkey Choke Tube

In your opinion, what is the best choke tube for turkey hunting for a remington 870. My price range is between $20 - $30 and i will be shooting 3in loads. I know most people say shoot whatever works well with your gun, but i am on a limited budget being in college and having to buy all kinds of different things for turkey hunting because this is my first time. Thanks for you help.

Iv'e tried the undertaker, true-glo, and hastings. I shoot a new england pump pardner with 3 inch #6 winchester loads. The hastings works the best, holds a better pattern out to 40 yards.

With your budget, I would go with the undertaker. Very good choke for the money. ( $18.00 to $24.00) If you are shooting non-lead shot, make sure you don't get the lead only undertaker.

I'd put a Rem factory Superfull turkey choke in it and shoot eithier the Win XX 2oz #5's turkey load or the Win HV 3" #5's turkey load... Your gun should patter well out to 40 yards

Read a lot of good things about the undertaker and that is in your price range. I haven't tried this choke, but after this turkey season is over, I plan on going out and trying it.
