Pecking Order

I would like to know everyones thoughts on this subject.I think it is a year round thing,however with the mating season I think it intensifies a little. I have witnessed plenty of fighting in the spring. It has been a long time since I have been in the fall woods hunting turkeys and I am sure it goes on with the young birds establishing themselves.I cut my teeth hunting fall birds growing up in Pa. but that sure was a long time ago.

Even hens beat the daylights out of each other establishing pecking order. Some of my best hunts have been when I talked smack to the boss hen in the woods and she brought her boyfriend(s) with her.
