Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Digital fish scales............

Was wondering how many guys own one? If your nowhere near a place with a certified scale, these digital fish scales work pretty slick. I bought a Berkley 0-50lb digital fish scalea few years ago to make weighing my birds easier, and it takes the guess work right out of the picture altogether!!
I also keep one of those small tape measures inside my vest as well.
Here's a picof the newer Berkley models.

Here I am using it on a Jake I thumped in VT last year and another scale I have in our WV camp. As you can see the digital is much nicer (not with the weight it"™s showing)

I have the middle one also, except white. Been using it for a couple years and works great! Also carry a few other items:
Little piece of cord to tie legs together for weighing
Extra S-hook to hang scale handle from something for pics
small ruler
camera
