how many ohio turkey chasers?

what do you all think about are season opening so late? i wish it opened about 2-3 weeks sooner. anyone huntin in or close to knox co.?

Sorry, I don't live near your county, but I do live in Paulding, which is in the northwest part. I do agree that the season opens way to early. By May or so, the birds seem to dissapear. The state really needs to review this one.

im a turkey hunter in licking county but i do travel to eastern ohio to hunt
and they do need to opean the season eairler

Hunting Noble County and it opens 2 days earlier than our season so that's 2 more days than I had before

This is my first season in 12yrs so. My oppion probly could be x'ed. One good thing ohio has done is transplanting breeding pairs to some public lands around the out skirts of Lucas county. So maybe in a few yrs may not have to travel.
