Ok ladies and gentleman its getting that time of year again. Whats everyone do on Turkmas eve. Well for my first hunt in Missouri I'll be on the road to Missouri. But the night before Indiana season kicks in Im having deep fried Indiana turkey and partying it up. Whats everyone else do? If all goes well I'll have 1 Missouri bird on the ground, before Indiana season starts and then hopefully have an Indiana bird down opening day then back to Missouri for bird 2. Then maybe on to Ohio or PA for one more. My goal is 4or 5 Easterns this Year. OH dont ya just love this sport. Lets go and kill some turkeys... Im fired up ready to turkey hunt. Just today my turkeys when strutting and gobbling their heads off.

Sleeping in the back of my truck at LBJ National Grasslands. Public land in TX. It will be so crowded I hope I find a parking spot! EDIT: kidd, Turkmas eve has nothing to do with fall football or deer hunting. It is the day before opening day of SPRING TURKEY SEASON!!!!!! I will also be taking 1/2 a day off to get a spot on the crowded Tx public land.
I will go out and put some birds to bed and then I will be so excited that I won't sleep and I will be up and at 'em ready to go chasing some of them big ole Indiana gobblers. This year I am taking the bow, so it will be a little more of a challenge.

I'll answer this same question again. Hot boiled crawfish and a couple of cold brews while hopefully listening to a gobbler going to bed. Then I'll go inside my camp and have another cold one and watch a turkey hunting video before hitting the sack.
