Default Who out there is Smoke Polin' your Tom?

And what is your favorite recipe for that front end stuffer.

I am playin around with my 10 Ga Black Powder Pedroselli.

I have used - 110 grs Pyrodex - Circle Fly Powder Wad - BP Tuff shot cup - 1. 5 oz - #6 copper plated (but want to go to 4s) and half of a Cirlce Fly wad to keep shot in.

What is your recipe?

JW I am! Pedersoli double barrel 12ga. one full choke one X-full. Sidelock percussion. 80gr. of APP and 90gr. Volume #6 shot. I'll be calling them in with a pretty new Wingbone call! Oh, and I'm using a Winchester AA wad. Cheap, easy and effective! I keep the shot in with a felt furniture leg pad from wally world. 3/4" and about $1 for 20.

I am either going to hunt with my bow or my tk2000 knight muzzleloader. I think it would be cool to hunt with I smoke pole. The gun shoots great and kicks like am mule.

theres nothing like a front stuffer !! I have taken 6 with a tk2000. I am going to have to say im going to leave it home this year, first year with a crossbow this year, gona give it a try. the things that i found out wile preping a pet load for a muzzelloader were equal measure didnt always equal good patterns. you will have to experement with a powder measure alot, but try a couple of loads either shy or heavy on the shot or powder. the AA winchester shot cup made the best pattern for me , but try a few before you settle on one. keep your powder dry and good luck !!!

I thought about useing a crossbow but for some reason you can't in michigan. Which makes no sense because you can use a shotgun.

one day ill get my 75cal smooth bore flintlock. one day. id like to order it this summer and itll be a year..but we will see. i think smoking one with a flintlock would be AWESOME. inlines and caplocks never appealed to me. and i like the looks of a custom flintlock fit to me and finished BY me. just part of the game for me i guess..hopefully i can order it...but its going to be a toss up between upgrading the bow and ordering the gun....hmmm lol
