Default help on hunting 20 acres

well me and mu uncle have been tryin to kill a tom on this land for thhe past 3 yrs with the 1st year being the best with calling the turkys within 100 yds 2nd year just hearing them far away and this past year not hearing them at all .....the land wee hunt on is mainly wooded and turkeys usualyy come during fall to feed and drink water in one of our artificial ponds...mainly feeding on corn and milo from our feeders......we usually see sign of them coming from 11 to about 3 eating from our feeders ...we have no piks its just we stay on the blind to about 10 and then get back one at 4 but between that time we usuallyy work and walk around checking the sign from the night before and thats when iv see all the feathers scattered all over the place and all the corn gone...but i just wanted some pointers on maybe the things i could do to get some toms with in shooting range for a shotgun or maybe even a bow from a ground blind

It sounds like you can hunt all day there if so , find your turkey the day before try roosting one , or locating him with a locater call if you find oneset up with in 100 or so yrds then sit in your blind all day calling softly , or find where they are feeding and set up there and stay put and call softly be safe and good luck

Can you get permission to hunt your neighbors property. 20ac. is pretty small. They might not show up when you're there.
