yeah, he admittedly used to be a bit of a menace to society and does sometimes hint at drug use. he was also a grafitti artist and such when he was younger. i did find out what a dugout is, though. it's a wooden box that acutally does somewhat resemble a box call except it's shaped a bit more like a thick wooden checkbook and when you open it up there is a compartment for a pipe and a larger compartment for marijuana.
the drawing...geez...it's not very well crafted at all. i might redraw it and post it for you guys because I'll need it for my portfolio anyway. it was hastily done about 2 am the day it was due because i couldn't come up with anything else and i had to have something, anything, to turn in and a box call was on my desk haha. we had to do 3 drawings and the only real good idea i had was a ww2 era american fighter flying into the center of a ***anese rising sun flag, which i drew with sharpies and everyone loved (but ironically i used a *** zero to model the plane, only one i could find with an angle i liked hehe).

the fills on the red aren't that great due to it being on regular ol' sketch paper. you can't go over the same spot too many times without tearing the paper. at least i can't anyway hehe
