i live two hours away from the arizona border, and was wondering if anybody hunts turkeys there. if so, where? on public land or private? also, what tags and licences and things do you have to buy there to hunt there? what do they cost?
When I can get drawn for a turkey tag I hunt public land and have not had any trouble finding birds. Here we have to draw for turkey tags for the both the falland spring hunts. The non-resident cost for a hunting licence is $151.25 and the tag fee is $77.75.
