Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

I jus bought the Jelly Head choke...I haven't had a chance to try it out yet though. I am hoping to do so this weekend, if it doesn't rain on me! I will be shooting it out of a Remington 870 and using Hevi-Shot 13's.

I use the jellyhead with my 870 and Rem. hevi shot 3 1/2 inch 5's and have laid a couple down past 50 yards. Shouldn't be much different with the Mossberg. With the hevi shot, hevi 13's, or Win. Xtended, you should have no trouble putting one down past 45 yards.

I have shot several different chokos in my 835 and 935 and the best I found was a Pure Gold. Best things about their chokes is if you are not pleased with the patterns after you shoot it, send it back and they will refund your money.

well something that i had not done since the evelotion of aftermarket chokes , try your factory x-tra full. there are a gozillion chokes on the market and i have a couple for each gun like everybody else. last season wile patterning, i tried the stock factory x-tra full and got better patterns from that choke than the $60 choke that i swore by for seasons. factory chokes really should be checked out at the pattern board before you go spend alot of money on somthing that really might not be nessary.

I have a beretta extrema 2 and I originally bought a jellyhead for turkey hunting. The choke held a hell of a pattern, but it was approx 6-8 inches left everytime. I even got other people to shoot it to make sure it wasn't just me. Did the same thing to them. I made sure i wasn't over/under tightening it and all. Must just be a bad choke. I now shoot a Kicks Gobblin thunder and love it. I have several buddies that shoot the jellyhead and they love it. I loved the pattern, i just think i got a bad choke.
