Default Primos Power Owl

i purchased one of these over the weekend and for the life of me I can't make it sound any better than a duck with a serious hangover. I have read and read the directions but to no success. Blow to soft, duck, blow to hard bigger duck. Anyone have a helpful tip on this very elusive call LOL!!

PS- If anyone wants to go hunt drunk ducks, I'll call for ya!

Maybe primos makes a duck call that will sound like an owl?? Ha Ha

All I could say is keep practicing on it and maybe you will get it figured out. Good Luck

Hey - yo BullRider

I'm not sureabout that call you have but the owl calluse works fine , are you trying to say ( who cooks for you ) I mean not really saying the words but like ( puff ... puff ..puff .. puff )as if this makes alot of sense
It's suppose to sound like an owl saying ( who cooks for you ) .

Without seeing the call I would say that you probably have tocup your hands over the end to produce back pressure.
To do this grasp the call near the end with your right hand using your index finger and thumb. Curl your fingers together to form an extension of the call. The call will be between your thumb and index finger right next to your hand. You will then place the left hand alongside the opening in your right hand and cover the end to create a bowl like area for the air to go into. Blow into the call and see if that makes a difference.
If it does then you can work on getting the who cooks for you, who cooks for you all......

LOL Yeah I got that part, after playing with it tonight even more and driving everyone nuts here. I got it to sound right, unfortunately, it is quiet as a mouse fart but, definitely an owl. Just have to work on the volume end of things now LOL!!

Learn to use your mouth. It sounds more realistic than any produced call.

I bought one myself and was really disappointed in it. It does sound like a sick duck. I just hoot with my mouth sounds better and is louder.

Well, guess what is going back to Gander.... My sick duck call!! I will go with the yote or a different brand of owl. This is my first year as mentioned before and I guess patience is key in learning all the different marketing keys out there and what works best.... I should have no worries though RDHunter is gonna call em in for me LOL.......
