Sure, go for it. But always consider your set up in a matter of bringing the Gobbler past you to get that perfect 10 yard shot. That may be a bit exaggerated but thats alright. Use a curtain bind to cover your draw. And, if you blow to many oppertunties, get out your shotgun.[/align]

I would suggest using a good blind. Their eyes are sharp enough without adding movement. Good Luck!

Why not, bowhunting Gobblers is one of THE most exciting hunts you'll ever make! Getting the birds 10 to 15 yards struttin' and drummin' is simply awesome! It's amazing just how much more you learn about the species by bowhunting them as well. Best of luck to ya this fall!

it's not neccesary to have but a blind is how 99% of hunters get there bird. place your decoys at 25 and 15 yards. ideally you want tom to come face to face with your decoys. another tactic you can do is position your hen at 10 yards and a jake only 2-5 yards away from your blind. attatch some fishing string to the jake so you can make him move. If you don't have a blindtry hiding behind a fallen tree or just pray he turns around while fanned out so you can draw your bow on him, risky but it';; work
