Default Any recomendations on Ga. turkey land?

Does anyone have any recomendations on turkeys in/on public land or WMA's in GA.?

You betcha! I don't know where you're located, but Altamaha WMA is a well kept secret. There's another WMA that joins AWMA but I can't recall the name of it. If you have a boat you will have thousands of acres of land to hunt down there and you won't see a sole.

I saw about 30 turkey last weekend in sansavilla wma. I also saw 8 deer. to bad i was looking for hog. I am very new to hunting so I don't know if they were big or male or anything. That wma is about 1.5 hours north of jacksonville Fla.

If you want to hunt some in north Ga. I can help you out, but I will warn you it gets hit hard come spring.
