Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Kansas hunts and Kingvjack

I've had a couple of people ask meabout Public land hunting here in Kansas... I can try and help you out... Here are some good things to remember though when dealing with me.
1. I do not start scouting areas outside of El Dorado till turkey season.
2. The only other places I even go are Byron Walker game area in Sedgwick county or Butler state park, otherwise I live at El Dorado.
3. I am in no way a guide or associated with any of that style of doing things. I do not approve of guides nor would I ever recommend one.
4. I hunt turkeys, They may be Rios, they may be easterns... I know of both in the area. Rob Keck didnt breed these birds himself so NWTF species classification means jack and crap to me.
5. If you joke about poaching with me... I'll personally see to it that every game warden in the area knows you name and when you'll be in the state.

Maybe you should consider loosening up a bit. Just a suggestion.

I'm loose... like anyone else... I do things a certain way, maybe not the right way.... but I have fun with it. I'd rather see everyone else have fun as well, some people just piss ya off though.

Nope... nuttin got missed... My rant was caused by people who need to realize that traveling the country poaching animals is not a "vacation"
I was also really surprised at the numbers of people who openly admit to poaching in the chat room..
I think that many of you are shameful people and that alot of practices that have been talked aboutin some places (not neccesarily in the turkey forum)are the very things that keep skepticism about hunting and seriously taint the outlook of newcomers to our sport.
