Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Strutting Decoys

Just noticed a new decoy came out made by Primos. It's called the B-mobile. Similar style compared to the Carry lite Pretty boy. Just curious to see if anyone has experience using one of these strutting decoys? I've read that dominant turkeysare attracted out of anger andtryto fightwith these decoys, but do subdominant birds still come into a decoylike this? I'm thinking about buying the new B-mobile decoy. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well I made my own - and to date I have had them work and had them hurt! By that I mean it has pulled in Toms and then had what I considered Dominant Toms - shy away.

Now a word of caution - strutting decoys or any Tom or Jake decoy - be very careful on placement around you!

There are some real idiots out there who do come sneaking in! I have had that happen more than once. So stay safe.

Well last year we tried a strutting jake for the first time. We had every type of gobbler come in. We also had every type of gobbler shy away. We used them on rios, merriams, osceolas, and easterns. Its like anything when it comes to hunting. Sometimes thing will work sometime they dont. I like to use them because when you do get one to commit. They usually put ona pretty good show. Good luck

I would have to agree with this.
Every bird I have ever had come into a decoy setup hung up in the woods. All the birds I shot happened on days when I forgot my decoys at home. Just gotta make sure you dont move...EVER!
