i use the nitro ammo made in missouri. it is great. my gun also patterns okay with winchester supreme 6's. I switched to the rhino choke and nitro ammo and have beenvery very pleased with results. somewhere around 220 pellets at 40 yards in kill zone.

I think you mean .650
.065 is about the diameter of a #2 pencil lead.
.650 with that load should hold tight enough to make missing possible at 15 yards. And it's guna boot your shoulder, don't scope it without a rased cheek piece.
unless you're found of black eyes.
over choked in my book, good luck.

I believe that the Winchester X2's barrel is the very same as the Browning Gold's, meaning that they are "backbored". Therefore a larger diameter choke is needed on those guns. Best double check again on that choke restriction.[:-]

you can double check winchester website for info maybe. my extrema 2 is backbored. with there recoil reduction pad shooting 3 1/2's isn't bad at all. I don't even know what constriction my choke is LOL, I heard a lot of good things from people regarding my choke and shot combo so I went for it last year and wasn't sorry. good point on missing em up close b/c of shotstring so tight. most of my shots are 18-50 yards. I don't worry about it much at those distances. I in know way represent nitro or rhino choke company's just as others believe in word of mouth when I come across a great product. my friend gets a pretty good pattern with the jelly head choke and winch supreme 6's. the nwtf is also a good site for info on choke, shot combo in there forums. just do a search.

The winchester super x2 is back bored with a standard bore diameter of .741. In most chokes a xxfull is .680 and a xxxfull is .670. So yours at .665 is very tight. I'm guessing that #6 lead or #5 or 6 hevi13would be good starting pointsfor it. That tight and your options get a bit limited.

expensive option but with every turkey gun I own, I shoot every manufacturer and load thru it for the best pattern. If you have a friend to split the ammo with you it would be cheaper. some guns pattern better with a certain manufacturer and load choke combo.
