RE: Remington Model 870 SPS-T Super Magnum Camo, Any comments / experience?
I got this exact gun for turkey hunting, except mine has the thumbhole in the stock: http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/shotguns/model_870/model_870_sps-t_camo_thumbhole.asp
I don't think you can go wrong with this gun. The Remington 870 is a tried and true gun that has been very, very popular gun for several, several years. I went for the thumbhole version because of how comfortable the gun felt in my hands. If you havent' held this gun, definitely give it a try.
I have read that the remington choke doesn't pattern too very well and several people have recommended upgrading.

I have one that I would sell. It's been shot less than 25 times and would come with a MADD Supermax Choke. I gota great deal on a Browning 10ga right after I bought the SPS-T. It'sa non-thumbhole version. I can send pics if you are interested, but it may take me a day or so.

I have one. AWESOME gun... I am 4 for 4 with it. I use the 3 1/2 #5's and the MADD supermax choke. Patterns very well at 50 yds. I misjudged a shot this year. I thought the distance was 55 steps. It turned out to be 75 (there was a rolling hill that messed with my judgement). Rolled the ol tom right over. Door nail dead.

Did you try the Primos Jelly Head choke? I was just wondering which patterend better for you...the MADD or the Primos or any others you may have tried. Comments appreciated.

I have it with a TruGlo gobblestopper and all I can feel is sorrow for the creatures that have wandered infront of it. That gun is a blast in more ways than one. I wouldn't hesistate to buy another.
