Well, I just filled my last archery tag and the realization that i wont be able to turkey hunt for another 4 mos. has set in. I am already anxiously awaiting spring.

We are all anxious about the upcoming season. Do you duck hunt? That will make the time go by much more enjoyable. I've been seeing turkeys while deer hunting this year and I am already fired up,but I still have a month and a half of duck hunting left. I have one more deer I can kill, but in the back of my mind are turkeys.

yeah, i duck hunt. Our season closes dec 28. I havent been out in a week though. OUr hunting has slowed down tremendously since that big snow and ice storm in the midwest. Hopefully it picks up soon.
I also have one quail and pheasant hunt scheduled in kansas for january.

I can hear the turkeys gobbling already.

I'm with you guys. My duck season is over, I have one bow tag left to fill and maybe some goose hunting, but I'm ready to spring turkey hunt!! Actually I have been since the end of last spring, but bowhunting is fun enough to make me anxious for fall every year. But man turkey hunting is a blast!!
