Default help w/ shotgun optics

Trying to decide between an "open red dot" like a holo sight or low power red dot scope.The open red dot looks it might be more fragile.Hasany one usedany of these?Experiance is always better than advertising.Also considering a low power scope.
I have a 835 U/M,shooting 3.5" #4.

I have been using a Simmons Prodiamond 4x32 scope for years and
love it, I highly recommend it.

ANY OF THE DIAMOND RET. LOW POWER SCOPES WORK GREAT YOU WILL LOVE IT...
