Turkey Hunters' Prayer

Lord, we've been here on days before
and often times you've let me score.
Now do you think that on this day,
you could send a gobbler down my way?
And, if not, just let me say,
you've given me another day
to hunt the bird I love the best.

I don't mind sharing with the rest.
