Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Food Plot

I have about 120 acres of which is open bottoms and wooded hillsides - some open field on top - There is a small flock that use this land but only in passing - I have a deer herd - many good size bucks - no concern - I would like to draw some of the surrounding flocks into the area - I have hunted the area 2 years -a have only seena few hens- the property borders the interstate - very hard to hear anything - What I am trying to do is find the food that year in and year out draw the birds to the property - maybe encourange toms to roost in the area! Can anyone suggest a food plot?

Sure chufa. Some clover is good too but the chufa will attract them...

Chufa will also attract every coon for 50 miles , the turks would be lucky to get any and chufa ain't cheap . Clover is great for turks to go bugging in with their poults , and it will attract all kinds of other game .
