Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default rain OK, what about thunder?

I'm heading out at 4am tomorrow morn to be in my blind by sunrise. I have no problem with rain because I have permission for limited land and can't really run&gun, so I sit in my blind. Problem is there is a chance of thunder storms tomorrow. I can stay warm and dry, but would I be wasting my time out there if a storm rolls in?

Default RE: rain OK, what about thunder?

I wouldnt stay out in a thunder storm. Might get hit by lightning. Even though Im a turkey hunting fool its just not with the risk. If its just rain then thats a different story. I wouldnt stay in a heavy downpour either. After the rain I would set up on a field. Turkeys go to fields to dry their feathers.
