Default when to get excited??

when do you guys know to get excited when calling?? i am usually a soft and sweet type talker...clucks...purrs...and occassionally purrs that roll into a little series of yelps....thats generally my calling...just because i dont want to scare birds off screaming on a box or slate...i just dont know when to give them something diffrent...yesterday i had birds moving my direction slowly..then the kinda wandered off...i sat a good hour and nothing showed or talked...the one gobbled at every purr and cluck i made....so thats what i stuck with....maybe i should got fired up and yelped hard and did some cutting.....i dont know...any help?? it was like they lost intrest yesterday...and that happens to me once in a while..not just yesterday...

Default RE: when to get excited??

Im usually pretty vocal when I call. But a lot depends on the situtation. If its wet I usually call softer and easier.
