Default Will Toms Stay Close To ?

Will toms stay close to where hens are nesting ?

I have found turkey eggs that have been ate.
I found the shells that have been emtpyed.

So I thnik some animal stole them from there nest.
So woul'd the toms stay some where close to this area ?

I dont believe the toms care about the nesting area. Once the hens go to nest the toms move on... It sounds like a predator got to the hens nest and ate the eggs...
