Well finally,i score,killed him sunday about 11:00 its my Third Year turkey hunting,i usually just deer hunt,but hunting turkey is just as fun,had two come in both Tomsmy buddy was calling they milled around ,hung up around 40 yards out,turned and looked like they were going to split, so i had to crap or get off the pot,so i smoked him, i was so fired upwaiting for a shot, i almost hyperventilated LOL welol heres a pic...He was 20#10 3/4 beard and 3/4 spurs hes going to taste good too,,,Great great Time

This was my first bird ,in three season,and alot of mistakes,so hang in there your get one,Good Luck !!! buy the way it takes seeing one gobbler in action and your hooked ,what a great Country !!!

im only 15 and it took 3 years before i got my first which was a hen with a 7 1/2" beard. 3 weeks after that i shot a tom that was 19 pounds with 9" beard and 1 1/4" spurs. Didnt get one this spring. they wouldnt come in to my calling, or anybody elses i hunt with. I am getting a fall tag this year. i even thing about turkey hunting when it is bowhunting season. I get excited even when i hear a gobble on tv. LOL
