NEED HELP PLANNING A FLORIDA HUNT???

I've decided to go for my Osceola next year, it will be the third leg of my slam.

Who has hunted there and where do you recommend?? I have checked around on the net but I thought who better to get info from than other hunters like me.

Any info will be appreciated, i.e. guides, outfitters, places to stay, time of year, etc.

well i hunt in florida because i live in florida, i can't really help you with a guide. i would recommend that you try and get here around the beginning of the season probably the second weekend at the latest. the openner is usaully the 3rd weekend of march in the central part of the state.

If you plan on taking a Florida bird, take a true Ocseola watch for the hybreads. We just had a 110% season in South Florida...BT
