We saw three hens but the gobbler just wouldn't come in. They aren't saying much anymore here, and I think we called WAY TOO MUCH!! But she likes to call, so we called. Enjoy the picture, I sure did enjoy the time it took to get!

I took my 4 yr old on his first deer and turkey hunts this year, so I know what you mean!!!! But that is really what family is all about, Right? I'm glad you had the chance to spend quality time with her. If more parents did then our society would probably not have so many problems!!!! Good luck and stay safe!

Thank you all. It was a great day that we'll never forget! I hope to continue teaching herabout the wonderful creation God has given to us all! She seems to really like hunting, even being quiet and waiting, (like hide & seek). Of course a few coloring books and a portable DVD player helps out too!!

That is great!
My little girl is going to be 2 in June w/ another little girl on the way. I cannot wait to get her out and do the same. She goes out on the back deck of my parents and can already use a box call pretty good. She tries to help call the birds on the mountain behind the house.
That had to be even better than getting a bird. God bless.

Congrats on getting her involved in this great sport. All my kids love to go and have since they were little. My two girls love deer and turkey hunting.

I'm sure you'll have lots of years to enjoy each other's company in god's creation.

That is AWESOME!!!

I got to hunt with my son this morning. Something I don't get to do enough of anymore.He is a grown man now. We got lucky and scored in the final moments of the morning in a pressure packed"run and gun"calling session. There isn't enough money in the world to take the place of these memories....
