Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default First one of the season

This was a great bird to stalk, and a pain in the ass. Usually, my first bird is not a albino, but I had the opportunity to take one of the Toms out before he starts passing on his recessive gene. Anyways, 30 yard shot using my Trykon XL with Gold tip Hunter Pro tipped with ABC Sonics. The turk weighed only 21 lbs., but had 1 inch spurs and a 9 and 1/2 inch beard. It made a great dinner, spiced nicely with my homemade cajun spices.

That is one nice bird and good job. Yes those coyotos are hard on birds can't even imagine how they make it with all those dogs out there. I just can't figure it out how to post a picture if someone knows please let me know.
