I shot a bird on my very first year with my father calling for me and have taken some sense.

two weeks into my first year calling by myself....Learned more about the land from my father in law which I think helped more than anything.

It took me 3 days, to kill my first bird. I started hunting last year, and I took my second bird this year, so I am two for two. Me and my friend both called until the birds were close, I got my gun ready and my friend went solo on the box call. It will happen for you, just keep on trying. Good luck. rr

It took me about 45 minutes with my friend calling for me, and I shot a 23lb2 year old Eastern with a 9 inch beard. Good luck this year!
