Default what is success rateof turkey hunters?

I know it depends on the amount of wildlife and overall terrain, but what is an average rate of success for most turkey hunters - or atleast you and the ones in your area. from your experience, how many time do you come out with a bird. Experience i know also has a great deal to do with it, but give me a rough guesss. thanks alot

Really depends on where you live. Some states turkey hunting is just not as challenging as other places due to game numbers and regulations. Sort of the same with deer.

20% to 30% This is based on number of hunters and number of turkeys harvested.
You can usually find all of this information on your states game commision's web site.

i have hunted turkey since iw as 12(8 years or so), and i have shot somewhere around 4 or 5. that counts both spring and fall seasons, though i havent hunted much in the fall, and not nearly as much as i wish i had in any season.

I like to think that if there are birds in the area, you have about a1 in 5 (20%) chance each time you go out for a day of hunting,,, and by day I mean a whole day.
