mossberg 500 pattern

i shot and patternd my mossberg 500 combo that i got the other day it seems very good i got about 30 in the head spine at 25 yards i was going to post a picture but i dont no how to do it

What type of choke and shells are you using? I patterned my Mossberg 500 at 25 yardswith an xx-f turkey choke, 3" 2 oz 5 shot (Federals) and had 112 shots in the head and neck. At 40 yards I had 78 with the same shells. You might want to try some different shells and try to obtain a tighter pattern. Your shot will get it done with 30 cause it only takes 1 bb to kill it. I would try to make it better. Thats just my thoughts. Good luck

im using remington number 4s and a full choke but it could of been more then that im just taking a geuss i shot at a box so i dont really nkow how many would of been head and neck it was probly more then 30 just taking a geuss but ill look into that

after looking again there was probly bout 60 of them in head and neck area

If you got the time and money I would try some federal mag shok lead with the flight control wad. These shells are great. Out of my mossberg 500 it put probably 60 pellets at 35 yards. I would try them with an undertaker choke.

yea that prutty good ill look into that but i dont have the money im in debt with my parents for buying me this gun i got to pay them and stuff but the set up i have now should be good because id only shoot as turekey if it came as close as 30 yards
