Default Crows Makeing Turkey Sounds

Last monday I was sitting up against a tree.
I slipped of to sleep and I was awaken to noises.

I looked toward the noises and it was crows about 10 yards away.
I could have shot them with a slingshot.

They were makeing sounds that sounded like
A turkey purr.
It was like they were fighting sort of.
Some sounds were almost like a yelp.

Has any one else ever heard these kinds of sounds from Crows ?

That explains a lot my Botched up hunts... After all these years of hunting public land, I always blamed it on the nimrods running around in the woods[]And allthis time it's been the Crows I've been compeating with

Funny as it may seem , crows do pickup the communication of Turkeys. Crows like to fly above birds and harass them and I see this quit often in Florida. They also can cluck much the same but I find the sounds that come from the crows are much corser in pitch then from the turkey.

This past season in Florida I heard this come from crows often ...BT
